Updated on November 13, 2025

Bauchemie GmbH strives to make its website bauchemie.at accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) in its current version and to implement Directive (EU) 2019/882 on accessibility requirements for products and services .

The guidelines for accessible web content (WCAG) 2.2 , conformance level AA , and the European standard EN 301 549 serve as the basis.

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is partially compliant with the above-mentioned standards.

The content listed below is not yet fully accessible , but is being continuously improved.

Non-accessible content

1. Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

  • PDF and Office documents:

Some documents offered for download on the website are currently not accessible.

Should you require assistance, please contact office@bauchemie.at .

We provide you with the necessary information in an accessible format to the greatest extent possible.
  • Structure and Semantics (WCAG 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.5):

Headings, form fields and table labels are sometimes not yet correctly marked up in the code.

These are being gradually revised to enable better orientation and use with assistive technologies.
  • Contrast and display (WCAG 1.4.3, 1.4.11):

The color contrasts of individual texts and graphic elements do not yet fully meet the requirements in some cases.

An adjustment to improve readability is already in progress.
  • Keyboard operation and focus (WCAG 2.1.1, 2.4.2, 2.4.6):

The website is generally operable with the keyboard. However, some interactive elements may still have limitations.

Page titles and heading hierarchies are also currently being standardized.
  • Forms and error messages (WCAG 3.3.1, 3.3.3, 4.1.2):

Some forms do not yet contain machine-readable purpose information or screen reader-compatible error messages.

Improvements are planned and are being implemented continuously.
  • Interactive content (WCAG 3.2.1, 3.2.2):

Selecting certain options may result in automatic content changes.

These functions are being revised to ensure barrier-free operation.

2. Disproportionate burden

Making all older content fully accessible currently constitutes a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the BaFG (Federal Act on the Promotion of Education and Training).

This includes in particular:

  • older PDF and Office documents ,
  • Images and graphic elements published before June 28, 2025,
  • as well as recorded videos that do not (yet) contain subtitles or audio description.

Third-party content (e.g., embedded YouTube videos or maps) is outside our control.

3. Content outside the scope of application

The following content is not covered by the Accessibility Act:

  • Documents and content published before June 28, 2025 .

A subsequent adjustment is not currently planned, but will be made if necessary.
  • Third-party content that is not created or controlled by Bauchemie GmbH.
