MAPEI Adesilex PG1 Rapido 6 kg – fast-setting 2-component epoxy adhesive

Adesilex PG1 Rapido is a two-component, fast-setting epoxy-based structural adhesive. It is suitable for bonding, repairing, and reinforcing concrete, natural stone, and masonry – wherever speed is of the essence.

Scope of delivery: 6 kg kit, pre-dosed – Component A + Component B in a 3:1 ratio.

For longer application times, Adesilex PG1 (approx. 35 minutes) or Adesilex PG4 (approx. 70 minutes) are suitable.

• Storage: 24 months in unopened original packaging, stored dry between +5 °C and +30 °C

Consumption

Consumption is approx. 1.55 kg/m² per mm of layer thickness. A 6 kg kit is therefore sufficient for approx. 3.9 m² at 1 mm.

Application of Adesilex PG1 Rapido

1. Preparing the substrate

The surfaces to be bonded must be load-bearing, clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, and cement laitance.

2. Mixing

Add component B completely to component A and mix until homogeneous, e.g., using a resin stirrer. Due to the short application time, only prepare as much as can be used within approximately 10 minutes.

3. Application

Apply with a trowel, spatula, or finishing trowel and join the components immediately.
