SIKA SikaMur InjectoCream-100 600 ml – Injection cream against rising damp

SikaMur InjectoCream-100 is a silane-based injection cream used to create a damp-proof course against rising damp in masonry. The cream is inserted into drill holes in the mortar joint, where it spreads into the damp wall to form a water-repellent barrier. This allows the wall above to dry out.

The major advantage: no special pump is required. The cream is simply applied without pressure using a standard caulking gun for 600 ml foil packs.

Scope of delivery: 600 ml foil pack, white color.

Consumption

Consumption depends on wall thickness and wall length (total quantity according to Sika data sheet):

• Wall thickness 11 cm: approx. 900 ml per 10 m wall length
• Wall thickness 22 cm: approx. 1,800 ml per 10 m wall length
• Wall thickness 33 cm: approx. 3,060 ml per 10 m wall length
• Wall thickness 44 cm: approx. 4,200 ml per 10 m wall length

One 600 ml pack is sufficient for approx. 3.3 linear meters for a 22 cm thick wall. Allow for at least 10% extra.

Application of SikaMur InjectoCream-100

1. Preparation

Remove baseboards and plaster if necessary until the masonry and mortar joint are visible. Measure wall thickness and mark the drilling depth on the drill bit.

2. Drilling

Drill holes with a diameter of 12 mm horizontally into the mortar joint, preferably at the base, with a maximum spacing of 12 cm. Drilling depth: for 11 cm wall 10 cm, for 22 cm wall 20 cm, for 33 cm wall 31 cm, for 44 cm wall 42 cm (end of hole approx. 4 cm before the end of the wall). Blow out the drill holes with dry compressed air.

3. Injection

Insert the foil pack into the caulking gun, cut open the end of the pack, and attach the nozzle tube. Insert the tube to the back of the hole and fill the hole while withdrawing the tube to approx. 1 cm below the surface.

4. Sealing

Seal the drill holes or fill them with suitable mortar and smooth over. Properly remove salt-contaminated interior plaster and re-plaster.

Application temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C; do not allow to fall below 0 °C for at least 48 hours after injection. Shelf life: 12 months, store frost-free at +5 °C to +35 °C.

Note: Not suitable for surface impregnation. White spots may appear around the drill holes, which can be brushed off after drying.
