SIKA Remover-208 1 L – Cleaner for fresh adhesives and sealants & painted surfaces

Sika Remover-208 is a clear, colorless solvent-based cleaning agent for heavily soiled, non-porous surfaces. It removes uncured residues of Sikaflex adhesives and sealants from tools and equipment and is suitable for pre-cleaning painted surfaces and plastics before bonding.

Sika names Remover-208 as the recommended cleaner in the technical data sheets for Sikaflex PRO-3, Sikaflex-11 FC, Sikaflex-116, and Sikasil-C.

Typical applications

Application

1. Remove coarse residues

Remove the majority of uncured adhesive or sealant residue with a knife or spatula.

2. Cleaning

Apply the cleaner to a clean, lint-free cloth and wipe off the residue. Never dip the cloth into the bottle.

3. Wipe again

Wipe with a clean, dry paper towel before the cleaner evaporates. Repeat until a white cloth remains clean.

Important: Do not use on sensitive surfaces such as fresh paint and test for compatibility beforehand in an inconspicuous area. Not for skin cleaning – Sika Cleaning Wipes-100 are suitable for that purpose. Close the bottle immediately after use; do not use cloudy or contaminated product.
