MAPEI Mapestrip Perimeter 50 – self-adhesive perimeter insulation strip 5 × 50 mm, 20 linear meter roll

Mapestrip Perimeter 50 is a fleece-laminated perimeter insulation strip made of polyethylene foam, designed to prevent mortar and acoustic bridges between the floor and the wall. It is installed along all vertical structural components before pouring screeds or self-leveling floor compounds and absorbs floor movements.

Scope of delivery: Roll with 20 linear meters, thickness 5 mm, height 50 mm, color blue.

Application of Mapestrip Perimeter 50

1. Prepare the substrate

The substrate in the wall and floor area must be clean, dry, and dust-free so that the adhesive strip adheres securely.

2. Remove protective film

Peel off the protective film from the adhesive strip.

3. Installation

Firmly press the strip along all walls, columns, and vertical structural components without applying tension.

4. Forming corners

At corners, cut into the foam and through the fleece so that the strip can be guided cleanly around the corner.
