TECHPUR Pore Filler Indoor & Outdoor 4 kg – for showers, bathrooms, terraces & pools

TECHPUR Pore Filler Indoor & Outdoor is a transparent 1K pore filler that seals the open pores of stone carpets – even in permanently wet areas such as showers, bathrooms, and pool surrounds. It is weather-resistant and UV-stable. A 4 kg container covers approx. 3.3–4 m².

The pore sealing creates a closed surface that prevents dirt and moisture from accumulating, making cleaning and maintenance significantly easier.

Consumption

Standard consumption approx. 1.0–1.2 kg/m² with a typical stone carpet layer thickness of approx. 8 mm. Consumption may vary depending on grain size, pore volume, and the desired degree of sealing.

Application

1. Allow stone carpet to cure

The stone carpet must be completely cured, clean, and dry.

2. Apply pore filler

Distribute the material evenly across the surface using a suitable tool.

3. Work into the entire surface

Carefully work the pore filler into the open pores to ensure the surface is uniformly sealed.

Note for outdoor areas: The pore filler closes the originally open-pored structure of the stone carpet – water can no longer drain through the flooring. Therefore, ensure a sufficient slope and a professional subfloor structure suitable for drainage. Standing water should be avoided. In showers, a professional waterproofing membrane must be present under the stone carpet.
