MAPEI Mapefloor Finish 59 W TRP 5.5 kg – transparent, water-based 2K PU sealer

Mapefloor Finish 59 W TRP is a transparent, two-component, aliphatic polyurethane sealer in aqueous dispersion. It protects designer floors and floor coatings with a matte, UV-stable, and non-yellowing finish and increases resistance to abrasion and stains.

Scope of delivery: 5.5 kg kit, pre-dosed – component A 5.0 kg + component B 0.5 kg. Transparent.

Consumption

Consumption is approx. 0.1–0.2 kg/m² per coat; at least 2 coats are recommended. A 5.5 kg kit is therefore sufficient for approx. 14–27 m² with a two-coat application.

Application of Mapefloor Finish 59 W TRP

1. Preparing the substrate

The surface must be clean, dry, dust-free, and free of grease. Prime Ultratop with Ultratop Base Coat beforehand; treat concrete with Mapecoat I 600 W (1:3) to seal pores.

2. Mixing

Add component B completely to component A and mix until homogeneous using a low-speed mixer. For a slip-resistant surface, stir in 3–5% Mapefloor Filler.

3. Application

Apply the sealer evenly and thinly using a microfiber sealing roller, e.g., with a telescopic handle.

4. Second coat

Apply the second coat after 4 hours and no later than 72 hours. Walkable after approx. 12 hours, fully loadable after approx. 7 days.
