MAPEI Elastorapid 31.25 kg – two-component, highly deformable, rapid-set tile adhesive

Elastorapid is a flexible, highly deformable, non-slip, rapid-setting cementitious adhesive mortar consisting of two components. It is suitable for ceramic tiles, slabs, and natural stone both indoors and outdoors – especially where high deformability and short waiting times are required.

Scope of delivery: 31.25 kg set, pre-dosed – Component A (powder) + Component B (latex) in a 4 : 1 ratio. Available in either grey or white.

Consumption

• 6 mm notched trowel: approx. 2.6–3.0 kg/m² – one set covers approx. 12.1 m²
• 8 mm notched trowel: approx. 3.6–4.0 kg/m² – one set covers approx. 8.7 m²
• 10 mm notched trowel: approx. 4.6–5.0 kg/m² – one set covers approx. 6.8 m²

Application of Elastorapid

1. Prepare the substrate

The substrate must be load-bearing, level, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles.

2. Mixing

Pour Component B into a clean mixing bucket, add Component A while stirring, and mix with a low-speed mixer until lump-free.

3. Apply the adhesive

Apply the adhesive using a notched trowel or notched spreader with the appropriate notch size.

4. Install tiles

Place the tiles and press them firmly into position. The surface is walkable after 3–4 hours.
