MAPEI Mapeband Easy H130 – highly elastic sealing tape for bonded waterproofing, 13 cm × 30 linear meters

Mapeband Easy H130 is an alkali-resistant, rubberized expansion joint tape with polypropylene fleece lamination on both sides. It is used for the reliable sealing of corner, connection, and movement joints as well as pipe penetrations under tiles, slabs, and natural stone – in combination with MAPEI bonded waterproofing systems.

Scope of delivery: Roll with 30 linear meters, width 130 mm, color blue.

Application of Mapeband Easy H130

1. Prepare the substrate

The substrate must be load-bearing, clean, and free of dust. Depending on the waterproofing and substrate, prime beforehand if necessary.

2. Apply waterproofing

Apply a first coat of the bonded waterproofing in the area of the corner or joint.

3. Embed the tape

Place Mapeband Easy into the still-fresh waterproofing and press it down with a spatula so that it is free of bubbles and folds, ensuring the waterproofing penetrates through the perforated edges. Use the matching internal corners and external corners for corners.

4. Overcoat

Completely cover the tape with the second coat of waterproofing.
