MAPEI Mapeflex MS 45 300 ml – elastic hybrid sealant and adhesive with high modulus of elasticity

Mapeflex MS 45 is a one-component, elastic hybrid sealant and adhesive with a high modulus of elasticity. It adheres even to temporarily damp substrates, is highly UV-resistant, and is used, among other things, for sealing connection areas before installing the Mapeguard WP 200 waterproofing membrane, as well as for bonding Mapeband Easy sealing corners.

Scope of delivery: 300 ml cartridge, individually or in a box of 12 cartridges. Colors: grey, black, brown, or white.

Consumption

One 300 ml cartridge is sufficient for approx. 3 linear meters for a 10 × 10 mm joint.

Application of Mapeflex MS 45

1. Prepare the substrate

The surfaces to be bonded must be solid, clean, and free of dust, oil, and grease. Temporarily damp substrates are permissible.

2. Application

Cut the nozzle to the appropriate size and apply Mapeflex MS 45 into the joint or as an adhesive bead using a cartridge gun.

3. Smoothing or joining

Smooth joints before skin formation, e.g., with smoothing agent. When bonding, join and press the parts together within the open time.
