MAPEI Mapegrout T60 25 kg – sulphate-resistant, fibre-reinforced R4 repair mortar for 10–100 mm

Mapegrout T60 is a one-component, sulphate-resistant, fibre-reinforced, shrinkage-compensated, thixotropic R4 class repair mortar according to EN 1504-3. It is used for the repair of concrete and for levelling concrete surfaces in layer thicknesses from 10 mm to 100 mm and is resistant to freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing salts (XF4).

Scope of delivery: 25 kg paper bag, individually or as a pallet with 40 bags.

Consumption

Consumption is approx. 18.5 kg/m² per cm of layer thickness (unfilled). With 30% aggregate (grain size 3 to 6–8 mm), it decreases to approx. 14.5 kg/m² per cm. A 25 kg bag is therefore sufficient for approx. 1.35 m² at 1 cm layer thickness.

Application of Mapegrout T60

1. Preparing the substrate

Remove loose and damaged concrete down to a sound substrate and remove rust from exposed reinforcement. Pre-wet the substrate before application.

2. Mixing

Pour 4.1–4.3 l of water (trowel) or 4.2–4.4 l of water (spray method) into a mixing bucket or forced-action mixer, add the bag contents and mix with a low-speed mixer until lump-free.

3. Application

Apply the mortar with a trowel or by wet-spray method in layer thicknesses of 10 to 100 mm and apply within approx. 1 hour.

4. Curing

Protect the fresh repair area from drying out too quickly.
