MAPEI Mapelevel Easy – Leveling system for tiles and large-format slabs

Mapelevel Easy is a leveling system with a quick-screw mechanism for ceramic and stone tiles on floors and walls – especially for large-format slabs. It compensates for height differences between tiles and is installed and removed by hand without the need for tools. The caps are reusable.

How the system works

• Spacers (single-use clips) are placed under the tile edges: L-I for linear joints, L-T for T-joints, L-X for cross joints – available in 1.5, 2, 3, and 5 mm joint widths.
• Cap (reusable) is screwed onto the spacer and pulls the tiles to a level surface. One cap fits all spacer sizes.

Application

1. Apply adhesive and place the spacers under the tile edges according to the laying pattern.
2. Lay the adjacent tiles.
3. Screw on the cap until the tiles are level.
4. After the adhesive has cured, knock off the cap laterally parallel to the joint – the spacer breaks off below the tile surface.
5. Reuse the caps.
