MAPEI UltraCare Keranet – Cement Haze Remover, 1 l

UltraCare Keranet is a liquid acid-based cleaning concentrate that removes cement haze from ceramic and other acid-resistant materials. It is suitable for final cleaning after installation and grouting, as well as for lime and salt efflorescence and rust stains.

When used correctly, Keranet does not attack cementitious grouts – including colored ones such as MAPEI Ultracolor Plus or MAPEI Keracolor Plus.

Application

1. Check the acid resistance of the surface – if in doubt, test on a sample area.
2. Pre-moisten highly absorbent substrates with water.
3. Apply the diluted product in sections and leave to work for approx. 5 minutes.
4. Work with a pad or single-disc machine, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

Important: Only use once the grouts have fully hardened. Do not use on polished marble, limestone, cement tiles or non-acid-resistant enamel. Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles.
