MAPEI Ultraplan Xtra 25 kg – very fast-drying, extremely smooth floor leveling compound 1–20 mm

Ultraplan Xtra is a self-leveling, very fast-drying, and extremely smooth floor leveling compound for layer thicknesses from 1 to 20 mm. It is suitable for high-traffic areas and can accommodate almost any floor covering – at 5 mm after just approx. 6 hours.

Scope of delivery: 25 kg bag, individually or as a pallet with 40 bags.

Consumption

The consumption is approx. 1.6 kg/m² per mm of layer thickness. For 3 mm, you therefore need approx. 4.8 kg/m² – one 25 kg bag is sufficient for approx. 5 m².

Application of Ultraplan Xtra

1. Prepare the substrate

The substrate must be load-bearing, clean, and free of dust, loose particles, oil, and grease. Prime absorbent substrates, e.g., with MAPEI Eco Prim T Plus. Install edge insulation strips such as Mapestrip Perimeter.

2. Mixing

Add 6–6.5 l of water and mix the contents of the bag lump-free with a low-speed mixer in a mixing bucket.

3. Pouring and spreading

Pour out within 20–30 minutes and spread with a smoothing trowel or squeegee, or pump (up to +25 °C).

4. Venting

Roll over with a spiked roller.

5. Covering

Walkable after approx. 2 hours, ready for covering after approx. 6 hours (5 mm) or approx. 12 hours (20 mm).
