MAPEI Ultratop Base Coat 10 kg – Acrylic primer for Ultratop before sealing

Ultratop Base Coat is a one-component acrylic dispersion for priming ULTRATOP, ULTRATOP LIVING and ULTRATOP LOFT. It optimally prepares the surface for a final sealant, e.g., from the MAPEFLOOR FINISH range.

Scope of delivery: 10 kg container, ready to use.

Technical data

• Base: Acrylic dispersion, one-component
• Application temperature: +12 °C to +30 °C
• Application: medium-pile roller, e.g., mohair roller
• Storage: 12 months in the original container, stored dry at +12 °C to +30 °C

Consumption

Depending on the porosity of the substrate, consumption is approx. 50–80 g/m². A 10 kg container is therefore sufficient for approx. 125–200 m².

Application of Ultratop Base Coat

1. Prepare surface

The Ultratop surface must be clean, dry and free of dust.

2. Apply

Apply Ultratop Base Coat thinly and evenly using a medium-pile roller (e.g., mohair roller).

3. Seal

Once dry, apply the final seal, e.g., Mapefloor Finish 59 W TRP.
