MARITRANS MD is a transparent, hard-elastic one-component coating made of aliphatic polyurethane with a high solids content that ensures long-lasting waterproofness. This high-tech coating is UV-stable, non-yellowing, weather-resistant, alkali- and chemical-resistant and remains transparent and elastic even after aging.
MARITRANS MD protects and impregnates mineral surfaces against water penetration, frost, smog and acid rain. The coating impregnates damaged glass surfaces and protects against glass splinters in the event of breakage.
MARITRANS MD is also used as a transparent binder for the coating of sand carpet floors, especially in outdoor applications where flexibility and UV stability are required.
The MARITRANS MD uses a unique curing system
(humidity controlled), and unlike other similar systems, it does not react with moisture and does not form bubbles.
