MAPEI Mapesil AC Zero 310 ml – mold-resistant sanitary silicone with BioBlock

Mapesil AC Zero is a pure, single-component, acetic-crosslinking silicone sealant with BioBlock technology for permanently elastic and waterproof joints. It is ideal for areas prone to mold such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens, and wet rooms, as well as for balconies, terraces, and swimming pools.

The colors are matched to MAPEI grouts (Mapei Color) – so the silicone joint perfectly matches the tile grout, e.g., to Ultracolor Plus or Keracolor Plus.

Scope of delivery: 310 ml cartridge made of recycled plastic. Available from us in numerous colors.

Application of Mapesil AC Zero

1. Prepare the joint

The joint edges must be dry, clean, and free from dust, oil, and grease. Limit deeper joints with a backer rod (e.g., MAPEI Mapefoam) and mask off the joint edges with painter's tape.

2. Application

Cut the nozzle to suit the joint width and apply the silicone evenly and bubble-free with a cartridge gun.

3. Smoothing

Smooth before skin formation, e.g., with smoothing agent, and remove the adhesive tape immediately.
